March!
It's been a long time since I have posted. Callie did the last one for me. Once again I don't have pictures so you all get to read about my "normal" life. Matt and I haven't been up to much. Just working. I know for me I am sooooooooooooooooooo excited SPRING is here. I have had spring fever since our girls trip to Denver. Thanks Erik and Annalise for letting us stay with you. It was so fun to get to some nice weather (it in the 60's when we where there) but most of all so fun to hang out with the girls and catch up! We need to do some girls trips more often.
If you have been reading Callie's blog then you know that my little brother is leaving us in June to go on a mission to Portland Oregon. I have mixed feelings about this. I am excited for him and proud of him and support him. BUT I am so going to miss him and I am nervous for him. Missions aren't something we really do in our family so this is new. He will do a great job though. However...I will be up there to visit him. I can't go two years and not see him if he is close enough for me to visit, that would just be crazy.

Rachelle & Callie Charlyse
So this is all of us in our blessing dress, we shared. Obviously the picture quality is so much better now days. Callie and I are 2 1/2 months and Charlyse is 3 1/2 months old in the pictures. The poor girl gets her fatness from us. But we did alway stay below the 10% mark, Charlyse is normal. So fun. I just thought I would share the cute pictures.

ALICE FORTIE
Alice Broadbent Fortie 1919 ~ 2009 Heber City, Utah - On November 13, 2009 our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, Alice Fortie, passed away at her home with her children by her side. She was born October 23, 1919 in Heber City, Utah, to Charles Nuttall Broadbent and Sarah Jane 'Jennie' Wood Broadbent. Alice lived her entire life in Heber City where she attended both elementary and High School. After graduating from Wasatch High School she attended Utah State University for two years. She met her future husband, Mark Jeffs Fortie, at a dance at Saltair. They were married on November 27, 1939 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was an active and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in many capacities. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, the Grand Tappers tap dancing group, and the book club. (We know there was more time spent laughing and eating tasty lunches than was spent on reading books.) Mother held fond memories of the years she worked at the Central Elementary School. She was an optimistic who loved to enjoy life. She cherished time spent with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Alice was the ninth of 11 children. Her sisters Josephine and Jennie and seven brothers, Milton, Verd, Keith, Clyde, Marden, Roy and Thomas Ray preceded her in death. She is survived by one sister Norma (Lowell) Smith, Ogden; and sisters-in-law Edith (Ray) Broadbent, Salt Lake City; and Norma (Marden) Broadbent, Provo. Her six children, Wayne (Cheryl) Fortie, West Valley City; Keith (Becky) Fortie, Midway; Neil Fortie, Murray; Colleen (Boyd) Turner, Cary, NC; Karoyln (Calvin) Mickelson, Draper; Brent Fortie, Sandy; 24 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild also survive her. Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday November 19, 2009 at the Wasatch Stake Center, 150 North 200 West in Heber City, with Bishop David Johnson officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18 at the Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 North Main in Heber City, and on Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Stake Center. Burial will be in the Heber City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent online at http://www.olpinhoopes.com/ (click on "Obituaries & Guest book", then click on the name, and sign guestbook.) We thank her grandson Brian Fortie, the staffs at the Atria and Highland care centers, and the wonderful care givers at Salus and Hospice for the loving care given to mother during her illness. Our family is grateful to Mother for her exceptional example to each of us, for the extraordinary care she rendered to our Father during his illness, and for her lifetime of unwavering love and devotion to our brother Brent.

Halloween
I love the holiday's and halloween is one of the best but why is it that people are boring and don't decorate? And another thing...what is this trunk or treat crap. Its trick or treat going from spooky door to the next. How boring to look at a car trunk.
